![]() Just because someone isn’t doing something differently than how you would, doesn’t make them wrong and us right. One of my favourite things about this book is that it’s chock full of nuggets of wisdom and real life advice, so here are some of the standout takeaways for me… ![]() Yes Please is a candid account of Amy’s experiences in life and I would describe the book as hilarious, honest, inspiring and genuine. It also made me realise that Amy is so much more than just Regina George’s Mum! Rolling Stones described this book as a “329-page nonlinear hopscotch across Poehler’s life and career” – and I found it unexpectedly charming. Honestly, before I read Amy Poehler’s Yes Please I didn’t know much about her at all, besides that she was funny and played Regina George’s Mum in Mean Girls. ![]() I love reading memoirs because I love seeing the world through someone else’s perspective. I also love how much you can learn from reading about other people’s experiences. ![]()
